Middleweight paddles weigh between roughly 7.6 oz and 8.4oz. Middleweight pickleball paddles are a great option for new players, as they fit right in between a true control player and a power player. The majority of players will benefit most from a middleweight paddle, and they are the best option for a player with any sort of arm injury including; shoulder injuries, elbow issues, or wrist problems.
